Budmat Steel is expanding its portfolio with a new generation of steel palisade profiles developed for manufacturers of modern fencing systems, as well as designers and architects. The new roll-forming technology, which shapes profiles directly from steel strip, delivers exceptional manufacturing precision and opens up entirely new possibilities for designing contemporary fencing systems and landscape architecture elements.
The most significant innovation is the reduction of the bending radius parameter to 1.0-1.5 rad. As a result, the profiles feature edges that are up to 2.5-3 times sharper and more defined than those produced from traditional hollow steel sections. The difference is immediately visible – the profiles offer a modern, minimalist appearance with crisp, clean lines that reflect current architectural trends.
The extended product range includes profile heights from 80 to 200 mm, available in 20 mm increments. In addition to the standard dimensions, Budmat Steel also offers custom profile sizes starting from minimum production quantities. This gives fencing system manufacturers greater design flexibility and the ability to deliver tailor-made solutions.
Until now, the minimum steel thickness used for manufacturing these profiles was 1.0 mm. Thanks to the new production technology, it can now be reduced to 0.7 mm, helping optimise both production costs and the weight of the finished structure.
Budmat Steel has also expanded the available finishing options. In addition to galvanised and powder-coated versions, the profiles are now available in pre-coated steel, where the coating is applied during steel production. The range has been extended with new surface finishes, including gloss, matt, ultra matt and fine texture. Another innovation is the possibility of powder coating semi-round profiles.
The new generation of steel palisade profiles is designed primarily for modern fencing systems, gates and wickets, but is equally suitable for architectural screens, pergolas, landscape architecture elements and lightweight steel structures. The combination of outstanding geometric precision, a wide range of dimensions and modern surface finishes enables manufacturers and designers to create solutions that meet both technical requirements and contemporary architectural expectations.
Budmat Steel is one of the largest steel processors in Poland, with an annual production capacity exceeding 250,000 tonnes. A modern machinery park, in-house research and development facilities, and more than 30 years of experience within the Budmat Group enable the company to deliver advanced steel solutions for construction, industry and modern architecture.
The launch of the new generation of steel palisade profiles marks another milestone in the development of the Budmat Steel product portfolio and reflects the company’s continued investment in technologies that deliver higher quality, greater manufacturing flexibility and new design opportunities for its customers.
